SHOWDOWN

really i don't think its because hes cocky, my personal belief is that hes really not all that bad. (common cotton candy clouds and chocolate rain, does not sound evil)
also he just wants to have fun.

and really, ruling over a land in chaos like that, does not seem fun, it seems really really boring, BUT TRYING to take it over, now that sounds like a great time. He also loves to mess with peoples minds, and in that chaotic world, every1 is going to go crazy, and when everyone is crazy, playing games with them *like the maze* won't really work, so my personal belief is he knew he would lose, and threw it all away because you can't truly get rid of chaos [i mean common, look at the events following him being resealed]
