Homemade Japanese - Golden Curry by Edowaado Homemade Japanese - Golden Curry by Edowaado
I recieved a package from my host-mom in Japan with Golden Curry which got me very excited, so I chose to make it today and my little sister took pictures of the result! Golden Curry should be easy to find in most asian-shops. I recommand everyone who has the oppertunity to make it to try it!

I always add a can of tomato paste, a can of coconut milk and a bayleaf to mine.

Personally I like to cut my vegetables bigger then that and irregular, it makes the flavors a bit different with each bite, I also add more vegetables then just potatoes, carrots and unions, I tend to make so much that I have enough for two weeks because of it, its a dish gods would eat.

Probably one of the worst MLP comics I've seen yet.

But seriously, the black label leers at me with challenge. I'm all over their mild curry, though. Never seen it in flake form before—we get the 'pressed block' kind.

To be honest I have no clue ^^; I did see the curry change it's color a tiny bit when I added a little milk.

Great job. I feel sorry for you having to sift through the comments from obviously Japanese people who care so much that you aren't using rice from Japan

/sarcasm aside, this looks delicious!

Spicy curry is great stuff. It's too bad that no one serves it or sells it around here. Only specialty shoppes, maybe, but they're really expensive.

When you cook rice in a Japanese style ,do you make yours go all rubbery and clumpy?
If so, please explain how you do it.

Is it not possible with a pan?
Reply
:iconyoichi-masaki:
yoichi-masaki Featured By Owner Aug 12, 2013
it is, it's just harder

Wash your rice

put your rice in a pan with twice as much watter

then just let it cook (patience is key)

when the watter is gone you should have fluffy rice
