His prediction is correct from my perspective, but it did nothing to indicate their safety. So in this case, it will probably dip into the Partly Cloudy with a Chance of Death trope in which once the rain starts he will die or be dead.
Yes, because you know people won't believe you and will call you a liar, right? What they fail to realize is that it's a basic animal instinct to be able to predict things to a certain degree. Some people are lucky enough to have it more developed than other people. As you age, you start to lose the instinct rapidly unless you make sure to continue to use it.
Good point. I'm 24 now and the ability has continued to improve. What makes me think that this is more than animal instinct is I can predict events sometimes months in advance with complete accuracy. I don't think animal instinct can do that. I must have angel or demon with me then.
No, it is a scientific process, but most people just ignore it and therefore never even realize that they've seen it before. A lot of people just chalk it up to 'deja vu'. There are also people who can see the future that isn't even related to them, like people who have a dream about their flights crashing and then they make the decision to cancel, and sure enough it saves their lives.
I don't get them often, but when I do get future flashes they are also very developed. There is no fanatical beast inside you. It can all be explained reasonably.
